Hoodoo Love Spells, Voodoo Love Spells, Wiccan Love Spells or others…
Love spells come in as many flavors and varieties as they are races, languages and cultures in the world.
Many clients ask me what is the difference between a hoodoo love spell, voodoo love spell and say, Wiccan love spell.
Hoodoo refers to a non-religious, African American folk magic. Its’ magic for magic sake.
Vodou (incorrectly spelled voodoo) is an African religion brought by the African slaves to places such as Haiti and New Orleans, and therefore invokes their gods or “loas”.
Wicca is a European, earth-based paganistic religion that invokes their gods and the powers of nature.
Spells in religions such as Vodou, Wicca, Santeria etc., is only a small part of the religion. In reality, those religions are about establishing a relationship and receiving benefits from the deities, powers they serve. Whereas hoodoo magic is just that – magic (spells, etc.) and depending on the spellcaster, may include working with spirits, deities or simply the power of will, mind and nature.
Here’s the thing, don’t get hung up on “terms” like black magic and white magic. The most thing important thing is to concentrate on the results that a spell has – not whether it was cast by someone who practices hoodoo, Vodou (correct spelling) and/or Wicca for example.
So whatever “flavor” your spell comes in, the goal is for it to actually produce the results you desire!
